MARGES rugs are available in three color versions, each featuring shades of brown and gray. These versatile colors allow the rug to be incorporated into many spaces. Their calm, asymmetrical pattern is timeless and elegant.

Rugs in stock are shipped within 1-2 business days. Shipping time varies from 2-4 business days depending on the country of delivery.
For custom-made and made to measure rugs, an additional 5-7 weeks are required for weaving.

– The maximum width is 300cm. Wider rugs can only be ordered by contacting us directly.
– The rug length is unlimited.
– After ordering a size that changes the rug’s proportions, we will send you several design suggestions that will be tailored to your dimensions. You can also send such a request before ordering at contact@tapisatelier.eu.
– Due to the handmade nature of the rug, the size may vary by 2-3cm in length or width.
– Custom-made rugs are non-returnable. Returns are only possible if the rug you received is not as ordered and the sizing or color errors exceed the margin of error.

– Vacuum gently using a flat nozzle.
– Do not use rotating vacuum cleaner attachments.
– Wool shedding is a natural process that diminishes over time.
– Trim loose threads instead of pulling them out.
– For wet stains, try to absorb them with paper towels/cloths rather than rubbing them on the carpet.
– Do not use harsh chemicals.
– For difficult stains, consult us or a company specializing in wool carpet cleaning.

Yes. If your rug doesn’t meet your expectations, you can return it within 30 days of delivery, provided it remains unused and in its original condition. We want you to feel completely confident when purchasing from us. For more information, please visit our Shipping & Returns page.
Rugs woven to order in our standard sizes and colourways are also eligible for return.
We take great care to ensure our photography accurately represents each rug. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on the lighting in your home and your screen settings.
We recommend ordering a sample to experience the colour and texture in your own interior before making a decision.

Regular vacuuming without a rotating brush is all that’s needed for everyday care. If spills occur, blot them immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing the stain into the fibres. We also recommend professional cleaning every few years and advise against using mechanical drum washing.
Shedding is a natural characteristic of wool rugs and gradually decreases over time. Thanks to the premium wool we use and the high density of the pile, shedding is minimal during normal everyday use.

The ideal rug size depends on both your room and furniture layout. As a general guideline for living rooms, all furniture—or at least the front legs of the sofa—should sit on the rug. The rug should extend approximately 20–30 cm beyond the sides of the sofa.
